First Four Days: More Than 105,000 Walker Recall Signatures Collected
MADISON –Heather DuBois Bourenane, a volunteer with United Wisconsin from Sun Prairie, today announced that more than 105,000 signatures to recall Scott Walker have been collected in the first four days of the recall process. The announcement was made at the Recall Walker Kick off Rally at the State Capitol hosted by We are Wisconsin.
“As of yesterday night—the fourth day of signature collection, more than 105,000 Wisconsin residents have already signed their name to a petition to recall Scott Walker. Across the state, people are talking with their friends, family and neighbors about Walker’s destruction and are doing all they can to end his days as Governor,” said DuBois Bourenane, a volunteer with United Wisconsin.
Official paperwork to recall Scott Walker was filed on Tuesday, November 15 with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board.
United Wisconsin was created in the spring of 2011 and has over 200,000 pledges from Wisconsin residents to recall Walker. United Wisconsin is a Wisconsin State PAC, founded in Appleton, Wisconsin.
